Most religions have some method for the believers to get in touch with the Almighty. Whether through prayer, meditation, or some method of obeisance and sacrifice, mortal Man can make contact with the Creator. But I believe that this conversation is ongoing. The Eastern religions teach how to maintain a meditative state all the time; Christian scholars claim prayer is supposed to be continual, as stated in the scriptures. I believe this is not a difficult thing to accomplish because the Almighty communicates with us all the time with the universe itself as the medium of that conversation.
