Most religions have some method for the believers to get in touch with the Almighty. Whether through prayer, meditation, or some method of obeisance and sacrifice, mortal Man can make contact with the Creator. But I believe that this conversation is ongoing. The Eastern religions teach how to maintain a meditative state all the time; Christan scholars claim prayer is supposed to be continual, as stated in the scriptures.

I believe this is not a difficult thing to accomplish because the Almighty communicates with us all the time with the universe itself as the medium of that conversation. In all things around us we can find the answers to our questions and concerns, all that is required by us is to look to see the answer.

Throughout the millennia, poets and artists have found their inspiration in the word around them through this same mechanism; great thinkers, both philosophic and mathematic, have utilized clues around themselves to bring forth their greatest works.

The answers are always there, around us, just waiting for the right question.
