Two young scientists are kidnapped while at work at a nuclear power plant and taken to the future.

It seems the "scientist" of the future has no idea how the machine is supposed to work, mainly since he did nothing more than inherit the machine.

They travel backward in time to try and see not only how the machine works but how time works as well.

Other than discovering there is no such thing as the temporal paradox, the entire exercise seems to have been a waste of time.

A group of poems ranting on subjects from religion, romance, politics, social stigmas and other portions of - you guessed it! - the Rat Race.

As this volume was completed in 1971, a lot of the poetry seems related to people and issues of that era - the mention of Timothy Leary is just one of those.

Each poem is accompanied with a cute little illustration, featuring our furry rodent friends, and is intended to both amuse and provoke thought. Yes, just like everything else in the world.

Still, though the content is a bit dated, I hope is has enough "universal appeal" to still be an enjoyable diversion.

This is more of the same sort of thing as the previous volume. More illustrations accompanying more diatribes. This volume covers pretty much the same general subjects as the first.

I had a couple of sequel volumes planned: one to cover relationships and one about religion, but as the first volume did not sell, I sort of cooled on the project. But if there is interest enough, I could probably find them in whichever closet I shoved them into, dust them off and put them up online.

That is, if anyone is interested. Heh, heh.
